Not a filter. A process.
The distinction matters. What makes these pieces look the way they do is the actual application of paint over a printed photograph, which creates a surface that catches light the way canvas does. It reads differently than any purely digital effect.
Sessions for painted portraits are no different from any other session. We do the photography, you come back for the reveal, and at that point we decide which images work for the painted treatment and what finish makes sense for your space.
